STANCER THE SANTAMOBILE.

Children It’s Story Time Again. I am going to tell you a story how Stancer the Santamobile came to Santa’s Village.

It was about 10 Years ago on Christmas Eve and we were flying the Sky’s delivering presents from house to house.

We came to the end of one street and the Gentleman wanted a New Car. Whooosh! There it was, on his drive, and then we sped off into the Night Sky.

Rudolph turned around to me and said, Santa! it is So Sad! I said, what do you mean Rudolph, So Sad! Everyone is happy, they are getting new presents.

Well Santa, did you not see, as we were delivering the new car, the old car on the driveway was crying I could see the tears coming from his headlights.

I felt so sad, I wanted to go back but I could not, I had to deliver the rest of the presents.

The next day I took of my Santa Suit and put on normal clothes and told Mr’s Clause I was going back to see the old car.

As I walked up the street I could see the New Car on the driveway but the Old Car was missing. I knocked on the front door and asked about the Old Car.

Oh it’s finished, I’ve sent it to the Breakers Yard. I looked up the street and I could see a trail of tears. I followed the trail and it took me to a Scap yard. I looked inside and I could see the car about to be crushed.

Stop! I shouted, I want to buy that Car. Sam the Scrap Man then said, 10 Dollars he’s yours take him away. I got into the car and said to him, what is your name. My Name is Stan he said, as I drove him out of the yard.

I could see he was in bad shape and as we got around the corner he couldn’t go any further and stopped in a parking zone. I will phone Rudolph and tell him to come and get us, but we will have to wait until dark, so no one will see the sleigh.

Just then a Traffic Warden appeared from around the corner. You can’t stop here he said, or I will have to give you a ticket and tow you away.

                   Hello John I said,

How do you know my name said the warden?

I remember you as a little boy, I said. “Believe it or not, he was Good Boy”.

Seeing that you know me, I will let you stay for a while, in fact you remind me of someone, he said, and then left looking puzzled trying to think how he knew me. Ho Ho Ho.

As it got dark I could see Rudolph in the Sky,

Quickly Rudolph we must get Stan back to the North Pole, have the Crash Team standing by, we must save Stan.

As we approached the North Pole I could see the huge garage doors open with the Crash Team standing by. Straight into the garage, Stan went and the doors were closed.

We waited and waited and waited for word then after four days, the doors opened and there was Stan. All painted Red and White and looking Brand New.

Mickey the Motor Mechanic walked up to me. “Santa, Stan is fit and well”, he said; he can now move as fast as a Reindeer, let’s call him STANCER.

Everyone cheered. Stancer’s head lights started to flash, it was the first time he had been happy in years, he was now part of Santa’s Village and he would be looked after forever.

                       Merry Christmas Santa.
